5 Aug, 2024

What happened

On the 04th of August 2024, Studio 7 news correspondent Nunurai Jena was forced to leave a Mashonaland West Zanu PF inter-district meeting in Chinhoyi.

During the meeting, he was approached by a member of the party’s political commissariat, who advised him that he was not allowed to attend the meeting, as he was associated with Studio 7.

Despite there being other private media present, Jena was singled out and asked to leave the meeting.
